Privacy Policy

What we collect

We collect as little as possible:

• Your email address — only when you submit your lineup for crew matching. Used solely to send your one-time crew invite. Deleted from our records after your invite is sent.
• A hash of your email — kept to prevent duplicate submissions. This is a one-way transformation; we cannot recover your email from it.
• Your band selections — the green/yellow/red choices you make on the lineup. Used to run the matching algorithm and generate your share card.
• Server logs — standard web server access logs (IP address, timestamp, request path). Rotated regularly.

What we do not collect

• Real name
• Phone number
• Location
• Ticket or payment information
• Photos or biometric data
• Social media accounts
• Device fingerprints or tracking cookies

How we use your data

• Your email is used to send your crew invite — nothing else. We do not send newsletters, marketing, or updates unless you separately opt in (no such option currently exists).
• Your selections are used to find people with overlapping band interests.
• Aggregate, anonymized stats (e.g. "most-wanted acts") may be displayed on the site. Individual selections are never shared publicly or with other users.

Third-party services

• Resend — used to deliver invite emails. Your email address is transmitted to Resend for delivery. See Resend's privacy policy.
• Hosting — the site runs on a self-hosted server. No third-party analytics, ad networks, or tracking pixels are used.

Chat

Crew chats use IRC via The Lounge web client. Chat messages are not stored by our server — conversations are ephemeral. When you leave the chat, messages are gone. Your chat nickname is chosen by you and is not linked to your email.

Data retention

• Plaintext email: deleted after your invite is sent.
• Email hash + selections: retained until you request deletion.
• Server logs: rotated periodically.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for marketing or commercial purposes. Ever.

Your rights / data deletion

To request deletion of your submission, email chandler@facey.page with the subject "Delete my data." We'll remove your record within 7 days.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top will be updated. We won't retroactively do anything with data collected under a previous policy.
